Starting Diets

The fresh start effect.
It's the idea that certain big days on the calendar (New Years) or a new haircut (something that brings the feeling of anew) are great motivators for starting a new habit, project or something you've been wanting to start but haven't.

Came from my frustration with starting diets, and starting anything really...
I wonder if I'm the only one who does this, more often than I'd like...
I hope not.
Also, as we're heading towards the end of the year, I'm starting to question how many more "next Mondays are left...
